I make complex product workflows easier to understand and use.
I’m Sin, a product designer with seven years of experience designing digital products, including payment recovery at Data-realm (opens in a new tab) and insurtech tools at Coherent (opens in a new tab).
Currently open to Product Designer opportunities.

I redesigned API key management for Coherent’s insurtech platform, making growing collections of keys easier to find, understand, and manage. In usability testing, task completion was 21% faster, and Customer Success reported fewer support requests after launch.

I explored a connected ICBC case record in Jane App, then tested the prototype with five receptionists to identify unclear reminders and extension steps.

Organize review notes by criteria, flag strengths and concerns, and export a clean summary.

I built a mobile web experience that turns where you are into small AI generated adventures.
“Sin was thorough in her approach, with a holistic view of how each feature integrates with the rest of the platform. She carried out user testing and analysis, brought valuable research insights into the product, and collaborated effectively with global cross functional teams.”
“Sin approached problems from multiple angles, always asking insightful questions and suggesting valuable alternatives to improve the user experience.”
“Sin is a full stack designer with an eye for detail and the ability to get things done. She worked across design principles, user journey mapping, wireframes, mockups, and UAT with strong dedication. She also brought new ideas and valuable input from a designer’s perspective to the product team.”
“Sin is innovative in her approach to solving design challenges and consistently produced high quality, user centered solutions. It’s rare to see strong UX skills combined with graphic and UI design, and she brings all three together.”
I came to product design after five years as a multimedia designer. Since then, I’ve spent the past seven years designing digital products.
Earlier in my career, I worked on large scale digital campaigns that reached millions of people. Over time, I found myself more drawn to products I could continue improving through real use and feedback.
You can also find some of my earlier video work on Vimeo (opens in a new tab).
I’m currently reviewing AI generated presentations and documents for visual and writing quality, clarity, consistency, and usability.
I identify where outputs fall short, explain why, and provide feedback to improve quality standards. I also review trainer and reviewer feedback to help maintain consistent quality standards.
Mindfulness is a big part of my life. I meditate regularly and have completed two 10 day Vipassana retreats. The practice helps me slow down, see things more clearly, and stay focused.
I also like building small AI powered tools for my own needs. You can find some of them on GitHub (opens in a new tab).
I’m based in Vancouver and currently open to full time Product Design opportunities. If you think we might be a good fit, drop me a line.
